Politicians in Madison are trying to pass a law requiring a BACKGROUND CHECK on EVERY single purchase or ‘transfer’ of a firearm!
Under S.B. 372/A.B. 368, if you give a gun to your spouse or adult child or if you even loan a shotgun to a buddy for the weekend, you’ll be a CRIMINAL if you didn’t run a background check and TRNASFER that firearm into their name first!
The only way this is enforceable is if the state government has a total list of every gun and gun owner in Wisconsin. That’s nothing short of gun REGISTRATION which is the precursor to outright gun CONFISCATION!
This is outrageous and tyrannical!
That’s why I need you to sign YOUR petition demanding your Senator and Assemblyman VOTE NO on S.B. 372/A.B. 368 and shut this dangerous legislation down!
