Shocking: Gun Owners Lose Wisconsin Special Election!

Last night should be a wake-up call for all Wisconsin citizens who want to protect the 2nd Amendment.

In what turned out to be a stunning defeat for gun owners in District 10, a GOP stronghold the pro-gun candidate lost, this could possibly be a sign of things to come later this year.

If gun owners are not prepared, and do not dig in deep to fight in the 2018 elections, we could end up losing the large pro-gun majority we have now.

That means we need your help — more on that in a minute.

This wasn’t a defeat Republicans are likely to forget any time soon.

The seat that was lost last night was held by the Republican Party for 17 years!

And now Michael Bloomberg and his anti-gun zealots are one step closer to preventing any pro-gun bills from passing here in Wisconsin.

They smell blood in the water.

If they can win in one of the reddest parts of Wisconsin, then they believe they can win anywhere.

This was not the first sign that Republicans might be in trouble in the 2018 election season.

First there was the stunning defeat that they suffered in the Virginia elections which Republicans chalked up to “Virginia is already turning blue.”

Then there was the crushing defeat they suffered in the Alabama special election.

That loss was explained away by saying, “Roy Moore just wasn’t a good candidate.”

And now a Democrat who is likely to join her anti-gun colleagues in stopping Constitutional Carry, just defeated a well-known Assemblyman, Adam Jarchow.

Gun owners everywhere need to understand the gravity of this situation.

For the last year we have been pushing hard to get Constitutional Carry passed in the Senate.

We are able to do that because of the pro-gun majority that exists. But keep in mind that the majority is slim and now it sits at 18-14.

If the pro-gun majority loses just two seats in November, Constitutional Carry will be even harder to pass.

If the election last night is any indication of what is to come in November of this year, then we may soon find ourselves in a situation where we are on defense once again.

Don’t forget the long list of gun grabbing bills that we currently find ourselves fending off. Here are just a few:

>>> So-called “Universal Background Checks (SB 34),”  which currently has 27 combined cosigners, is  nothing more than code for STATEWIDE GUN  REGISTRATION. There’s no way such a scheme can be  enforced without tracking every gun and gun owner  in the state!

Of course, gun grabbers continue to claim “90%  public support” for this scheme that’s supposed to  protect us all from the next killer.

But remember, it was the national check system’s  failure that allowed the Texas killer to purchase  the firearm he shouldn’t have been allowed to own!

>>> Reinstating the 2-day waiting period on  handguns(A.B. 74). This legislation, which already  has 31 combined cosigners, would repeal the 2015  law that did away with the waiting period.

This unnecessary delay would do nothing to curb gun  violence and would only put individuals who need a  gun for protection at risk.

>>> A statewide so-called “Assault Weapons” ban  (S.B.350). This draconian legislation has 7  cosigners and its aim is to outlaw any semi  automatic rifle, shotgun or pistol with a     detachable magazine and any other “scary”  feature.

That could include something as simple as a  thumb hole stock or muzzle brake, which are common  on many modern hunting rifles.

Not only that, but this bill would effectively  cover all AR-style rifles, tactical shotguns, and  any semi-automatic pistols with magazines holding  more than seven rounds.

If any of these gun-grabs start to gain traction, it would be nothing short of a DISASTER.

And that’s why last night’s election should be the jolt that gun owners need to get involved in this fight.

We have heard it all too often from gun owners recently.

“Wisconsin will be red for years to come.”

“Donald Trump is President. No need to worry about the 2nd Amendment.”

Those sentiments and others are preventing gun owners from recognizing the tidal wave of gun grabbing candidates that are coming this year.

That’s why you have to act now!

P.S. The pro-gun majority in Wisconsin took a blow Tuesday night when Republicans lost a State Senate seat they had held for 17 years.
